Consecrated Adiyogi Abhaya sutra
There is a different kind of intelligence in inanimate things. Basically, a sutra is a medium. We could use something else, but string/thread is an easy and convenient way to do it.
Women should wear the Abhaya Sutra on their left wrist and men on their right wrist. It must be worn for a minimum of 48 days.
The thread can be removed by untying or burning (please do not cut it) and discarded by burying it in wet ground or burning and applying ash from vishuddhi (chakra or energy center located in the bottom of the throat) up to anahata.
Consecrated (offered) objects as ritual objects are not returnable. They should not be passed on to others after use.
