This large and beautiful Linga Jyoti oil lamp in brass and copper is uniquely designed with intricate carvings of the serpent and Linga to be a symbol of light and purification in your home. Sadhguru tells us that lighting an oil lamp every day and staying in its presence for a while purifies certain aspects of our body and increases our sensitivity.

To use an oil lamp: Roll the cotton wick in your hands until it is long and thin. Gently pull the wick through the wick holder, leaving about 1/2 inch exposed at the top. Fill the lamp oil tank at least two-thirds full with natural oil, such as sesame oil or ghee (clarified butter). Light the exposed wick and adjust its height with tweezers if necessary.
